The 3L bowl has no handle. The bowl is made of polished stainless steel.
Wire Whisk
Stainless steel 6-wire whisk has an elliptical shaped design to maximize bowl coverage allowing large capacity whipping just as quick and easy as smaller volumes.
Dough Hook
Used for mixing and kneading yeast dough such as bread, pizza dough and pasta dough. Made out of aluminium and anti-stick nylon coated. Dishwasher-safe.
Flex Edge Beater
Used for normal to heavy mixtures such as cakes, frostings, cookies and mashed potatoes. The flexible edge design guarantees faster mixing, without stopping the motor and using a spatula.
Pouring Shield
Optional tilt-head stand mixer accessory. One-piece, dual purpose accessory that helps prevent splashing. The pouring spout allows you to add ingredients smoothly whilst mixing.

Planetary action for fast mixing
The KitchenAid mixer was the original home mixer to feature unique ‘planetary action’. What does this mean? It allows the beater to spiral to at least 59 touchpoints around the bowl for fast and thorough mixing. Everything is incorporated — nothing is missed.
Move the speed control lever, depending on what you’re doing. Select speed 1 for a gentle stir up to 6 for beating and creaming and 10 for fast whipping.

Great for keeping on the worktop, the tilt-head model is your friend in the kitchen. It’s easy to tilt the head back to access the bowl.
